subsequent year. Please refer to the exact deadline date for the particular nominating period. The nominating package should be submitted electronically to the EPF Secretary with a copy (cc) to the
EPF President.
Nomination Review, Selection, and Notification
The seven-member selection Committee consists of the President of EPF, the Past- President of EPF, the Past-past President of EPF, the Secretary of EPF, the Treasurer of
EPF and two Members of the EPF Board elected by the Board for two consecutive
nomination cycles.
After the nomination deadline passes, the selection committee will begin their review and selection process.
The recommendations of the Prize selection committee are reviewed and approved by the EPF Board during their meeting in February of the year of the European Polymer Congress where the Prize will be
given.
After selection is approved, the recipient and the nominator receive a notification letter from the EPF President. EPF will announce the prize and award recipients on the EPF website and other
media.
The EPF President will notify nominators whose nominations were not selected. For a nomination to be carried over to be reviewed in the next review cycle (a nomination can be active for two award
cycles, i.e., for four years in total), the nominator will have to notify the EPF Secretariat. When the next nomination cycle begins, nominators who have an active carry over nomination will receive
a reminder email to review / update their nomination as needed.
If a nomination is expired, the nominator may submit a new nomination.
